Tour description

Join us on a 2-hour Sea Safari from Qeqertarsuaq and experience the wild beauty of Disko Bay from the water.
This boat tour is designed for guests who want a shorter but exciting Arctic adventure. We head out in search of the wildlife and scenery that make Disko Island so special. Along the way, there is a chance to see humpback whales, seals, seabirds, and beautiful icebergs drifting through the bay.

Every tour is different. Some days the sea is full of life, with whales feeding near the boat or large groups of harp seals resting together in the water. Other days the highlights are the icebergs, the dramatic coastline, the birds, and the feeling of being surrounded by Greenland’s raw Arctic nature.

When conditions allow, we approach selected icebergs at a safe distance, giving guests excellent opportunities for photographs and a closer look at the ice that drifts through Disko Bay.

Throughout the tour, your guide shares stories about local wildlife, sea ice, hunting traditions, and life in Qeqertarsuaq.
Whether we encounter whales, seals, birds, icebergs, or all of the above, every Sea Safari offers a unique experience in one of Greenland’s most beautiful marine environments.
